I also learned that it is best to consume dark chocolate in moderation and that it is always essential to consume it in its purest form with minimal added sugar. However, I was surprised to learn that dark chocolate contains harmful elements such as oxalates and stimulants such as caffeine and theobromine. Moreover, I have learned that one with health problems should be careful when incorporating it into their diet. Finally, I expected that dark chocolate would be unhealthy for the majority of people; instead, I learned that it is highly nutritional when consumed in its purest form. Overall, I have become even more fascinated by dark chocolate’s history and value.
